Samsung has officially announced the launch of Samsung M5650 Lindy. Samsung claims that Lindy is a music phone and we have to agree to that as Samsung has provided a separate touch sensitive music key on the front and the phone also has a 3.5mm headset jack. The phone measures 106 x 57 x 12mm and weighs about 98grams and comes with 2 interchangeable battery covers (black and blue).
The phone comes with features like 2.8Inch QVGA display, Wi-Fi, Fm radio, HSDPA connectivity, 3MP camera. 50MB internal memory and a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 8GB. Samsung M5650 is the successor of Samsung Corby and has all the features of Corby and a lot more. Lindy supports other functions such as sending Email, Instant messenger (IM), SMS. MMS and comes with features like Organizer, document viewer and voice memo.
With Lindy you can have access to social networking sites like MySpace, FaceBook, and twitter wherever you are and can easily upload videos and photos. The best feature of Lindy is the DNSE (digital natural sound engine) technology and Find Music recognition services which can send a mall recording of a song to a server and identifies the track, artists, and album of that recording for you.
The phone is currently being shipped in Portugal and will be soon available in other European countries, India, China, South East Asia, the Middle East and Africa. In Portugal the phone is being sold at a price of 159 Euros.
