Sony has introduced, their Reader Daily Edition ebook reader is finally available in the market for purchase. The Daily Edition has a7 inch E-ink touchscreen and comes integrated with AT&T’s network for mobile downloads. Sony is offering titles from their own wireless store same as the Barnes & Noble and Amazon are doing. Sony has become partners with many other libraries to offer users access to loan library titles for 29 days before they are automatically deleted.

Sony is offering 3G connectivity on its reader with no monthly subscription. It has 1.6GB of internal storage and has 2 microSD card slots for memory expansion. It supports formats such as EPUB, ACS4, PDF, DOC together with AAC and MP3.

Users can browse, download, and purchase books as well as newspapers and there is no monthly subscription or transaction charges for basic wireless connectivity. Users can even load personal files and documents to the reader as well wit te help of USB connectivity.

The touchscreen of the reader can be used for navigation as well as for making handwritten notes.

Fujitsu’s last notebook was not really an impressive one but let’s hope that it is not the same with this new MH 380. The MH380 comes with a 10.1inch(1366×768) display, has a 250GB hard drive and 1 GB RAM and is powered by Intel’s newest Pine Trail 1.66GHz processor.

The notebook weighs 2.97lb, has a 6-cell battery that can run up to 7 hrs with a single charge and also has standard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. This is a Korean phone and is really ahead from what we use today, most Korean phones comes with Live Tv, and also have  a built-in TIVO like facility which can record your favourite show when your are busy  doing something else. Huna Haptic by Samsung has  features like 3MP camera, T-DMB  for watching live TV, SOS Functionality which alersts the authorities when activated, and a diary to blog. It also ahs a proximity sensor that disables the touchscreen when your face is too close to the screen,pressing any accidental pressing of keys.The phone is endorsed by Yuna Kim, a Korean figure skater which adds to the  selling point of this phone. Samsung has managed to sell 1 million of these phones in just 7 months making it a big news in the gadget world. At the moment the sales of Huna haptic are quiet good, but we will have to see if they continues I the same  way as the iPhone is now officially available in Korea.

Samsung has officially announced the launch of Samsung M5650 Lindy. Samsung claims that Lindy is a music phone and we have to agree to that as Samsung has provided a separate touch sensitive music key on the front and the phone also has a 3.5mm headset jack.  The phone measures 106 x 57 x 12mm and weighs about 98grams and comes with 2 interchangeable battery covers (black and blue).

The phone comes with features like 2.8Inch QVGA display, Wi-Fi, Fm radio, HSDPA connectivity, 3MP camera. 50MB internal memory and a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 8GB. Samsung M5650 is the successor of Samsung Corby and has all the features of Corby and a lot more. Lindy supports other functions such as sending Email, Instant messenger (IM), SMS. MMS and comes with features like Organizer, document viewer and voice memo.

With Lindy you can have access to social networking sites like MySpace, FaceBook, and twitter wherever you are and can easily upload videos and photos. The best feature of Lindy is the DNSE (digital natural sound engine) technology and Find Music recognition services which can send a mall recording of a song to a server and   identifies the track, artists, and album of that recording for you.

The phone is currently being shipped in Portugal and will be soon available in other European countries, India, China, South East Asia, the Middle East and Africa. In Portugal the phone is being sold at a price of 159 Euros.

ICD had launched another tablet PC after the ICD Vega Tablet PC they launched earlier. This new Tablet PC is called the ICD ULTRA. The ICD Ultra features a 7 inch touchscreen LCD display and NVIDIA’s Tegra T20 Chipset.

The system comes with 512MB RAM and 512 MB NAND memory, a non-removable 4GB SD card and a micro SD card slot for memory expansion. It also features a 1.3megapixel web camera, built in 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi connectivity, a 3G connection plus, an accelerometer and an ambient light sensor. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack, dual digital microphones, FM radio and Bluetooth 2.1. The battery life for ICD ultra is 4 hours and it also features a mini HDMI port. It runs on Android 2.0 Éclair and is 186x158x18mm in dimension. There is no information about the availability and price at the moment.
